Samsung  and Sprint Nextel USA cellular operator recently announced the 4G-capable handset, namely Samsung Epic 4G. The handset is the flagship Samsung Galaxy S smartphone and Samsung Mobile’s first 4G Android-powered device.

Samsung Epic 4G smartphone is support for CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and WiMAX. It is boasts a Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor that supports for 3-D graphics, faster upload and download times as well as the full richness of HD-like multimedia content.

The Samsung Epic 4G has brings sliding QWERTY keyboard, 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with resolution of 480×800 pixel, 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording (1280×720 pixels), Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n with DLNA supported, GPS, an accelerometer with six-axis sensor, 512 MB RAM, 1GB internal memory, a microSD/microSDHC card slot (expandable up to 16GB), a 1500 mAh battery.

The great feature of Epic 4G can act as Mobile Hotspot capability that supporting up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices to share the 4G connectivity simultaneously. Samsung Epic 4G is running on Android 2.1 with Social Hub application, which is designed to view social networking, communications with friends, and so on. It is pre-loaded with a demo of Asphalt 5, a popular racing game.
