Unofficial specifications and images of the new smartphone Samsung Galaxy 2, which is currently developed by engineers of the South Korean company Samsung has leaked on the web.

Like the two previous models of the series – Galaxy and Galaxy Spica – a new device will be based on Android and executed in the same form-factor of no keyboard touch phone.

Device, designed for UMTS / HSDPA networks, built on Qualcomm Snapdragon platform with 1-GHz processor, is equipped with a 3.7-inch touch screen AMOLED-display, 32 GB internal memory, a 5 megapixel camera, GPS-receiver, Wi-Fi module and 3.5-mm audio connector.

It is quite possible that the announcement of another representative of the Galaxy series will take place at Mobile World Congress next month, and it is expected that the device will be available for sale in the second quarter of this year.
