Recently some information appeared on the web on possible release of several mobile devices this fall based on the new version of Windows Mobile 7.

LG Apollo is called as the first smartphone running Windows Mobile 7.

Resource WM Experts says that Microsoft plans to release two versions of Windows Mobile 7 – Windows Phone Seven Business Edition (BE) and Windows Phone Seven Media Edition (ME) – at the end of 2010 and 2011, respectively.

LG Apollo, based on Windows Phone Seven Business Edition (BE) is expected to appear in August or September this year. Characteristics of the new device include 3.8-inch touch-sensitive capacitive AMOLED-display, with multitouch and a resolution of WXGA (1280 x 720 pixels), Qualcomm 1,3 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM plus 1 GB of flash memory, 10-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and video recording with a resolution of HD 720p. The device operates in the networks CDMA / EV-DO and GSM / HSDPA, and also has a Wi-Fi module. The dimensions of the phone are 115 x 57,5 x 11,2 mm. Unfortunately, the price of the smartphone is not reported yet and there is no photo.
