still love 7710

Hi all! I have recently bought Nokia E72. Still using my 7710, however, was not very happy with the slugish response, was looking for 3g and WIFI support.

Just like to share with you the pro's and con's guys:

e72 Pro's:

• Fast, responsive (due to more memory and better processor), faster usb support
• No touch screen - no scratch
• Battery life - longer than 7710
• Good improvement  in still and video photo, flash and torch support
• WIFI, 3g support
• Slim and beautiful look  and  feel
• Operating system & softwares - update / download over the web
• Much lesser bug in most of the applications

7710 pro's:

• Beautiful and loud speaker (missing so much)
• More usefull task / todo support, more useful alarm
• Mobi reader is much better (due to large screen), same for internet browsing experience
• SMS - there was  sms  preview

Ahmet please update us - what  have you bought?

I haven' bought a new phone yet, still love 7710, still using it.
I agree with you on Nokia 7710's pro's. Best speaker like laptop computer sound, best wide screen,showing lots of items at same time on desk screen. I love multiple alarm option.

I'm thinking of buying a Nokia X6 or 5800 Xpress Music.

i just bought a noki 7710 but the firmwarer is quite old,

it is the 02.08.1 version

and id like to upgrade it my self,but these day it seems that nokia do not provide any software firmware of this phone anymore, ( i checked its official website )

is there anyone can help me, i love this phone so much..

i heard the lates firmware is the 04.1 version, is there anyone here that can helpme with?

Go to a Nokia Service for updating. Firmware update via USB cable not supported by 7710.
